We visited the city recently and stayed with budapestlets in one of their apartments on raday utca. The service and accommodation was first class and the recommendations on places to eat made for a wonderful experience. We will be promoting budlets to our family and friends but for visitors to the city visitng and staying on raday we would definitely suggest a tip to the soul cafe, trattoria and the great market which is a few minutes walk from the street.

peter the taxi driver was first class and made the airport collection and departure from the city easy and stress free.

We will be back !!

so agree with comments about raday utca. we stayed late summer during the wine festival and had a great time. great vibe to raday and a lovely place to stay and feel part of the city. We found the restaurants very affordable and really enjoyed the simplicity of claros at the top of raday. I would aslo recommend a visit to sir moriks cafe bar. the owners a miserable so and so but fantastic value for people watching and you get a real crowd of expats who hag out there and we met some great locals who told us where to go and what to do. A friendly fun place !!

Weekend in Budapest

Had the pleasure in stopping in Raday 40 around late October. Was my first time to visit Budapest with family. The apartment was very stylish and more than adequate for our stay. We spent the first night on around Raday where their are alot of lovely bars and restaurants.

I do however advise to go and visit the centre as soon as you can as there is so much to see and do. Food is excellent whereever you go.

Have recommended this to several close friends.

thanks to budapestlets

Dear Eszter

Back now from Budapest and I wanted to write to you to make sure you realised just how much we appreciated ALL the help and support you gave us whilst we were there.

As I told you at the time, my colleague’s mother had a severe heart attack in Hanover and at that time on Sunday it was too late to catch a flight until the next day. I can’t tell you how reassuring it was to have you at the end of the phone – even though it was nothing to do with the apartment!

Your calm, rational and so very helpful organizational skills meant we were able to take a “taxi” all the way from Budapest to Hanover that night and reach the hospital early the next morning.

And as a bonus, the apartments were perfect! Just what we wanted. So neat, clean, well stocked and beautifully furnished.

Thank you for that too.

Rest assured I would always give you the highest recommendation to anyone who wanted an apartment in Budapest.

Thank you most sincerely.

Best wishes,

Seán

Had a great stay with you guys and would recommend krudy utca to any couple looking for a break to the city. An excellent location close to some greta bars - frank zappa bar was tremendous and it has excellent transport links being a 2 minute walk to the trams on the grand korut. Budapest a fabulous city full of wonderful suprises. we had a wonderful trip to the rudas spa, the opera house and would really recommend fat mos for great steak and jazz.

the city was a great suprise to us and we will be back for a trip in the spring. we will recommend budapestlets to friends and family as we cant fault the service and found the web site easy to follow and use.

all the best Tony and Sue

places to visit

we were recommended by budapestlets to take a tour of the city with their tour guide eszter. It was an absolutely wonderful experience and in the space of 3 hours we learned more about the city and its rich history than we would have done wondering round for the weekend. its rich and fascinating and turbulent history was brilliantly told and eszther was a joy to spend time with.

I would recommend the service to any visitors and it certainly helped to make our visit a memorable one. We contacted budapestlets directly to arrange to tour.

Raday Utca

We have also stayed in Raday Utca and totally enjoyed the experience, we also attended the wine festival (2nd time now) and it is truly a wonderful, cosmipolitan event. Budapest still retains it's charm and is relatively untouched by some of the more unpleasant 'western' influences which some of the other eastern european cites seem to have embraced. So visit now before it's to late!!! (the xmas markets are excellent also)

Krudy Utca

Me and a couple of friends have just returned from our third stay in the Krudy Utca apartment, we love the apartment, it's lovely inside and so well equipped!! Krudy Utca is a really up and coming area, we love Frank Zappa bar and it is well placed for some of our other favourite haunts, Raday Utca (great restaurants and bars) The New York Coffee House (a must see) and the Irish Cat Bar (not very Irish but a great bar nonetheless) Budapest is so beautiful and really worth a visit, and thanks Budapestlets for looking after us so well again.... we'll be back again!!!
